Serving Our Community
From its beginning, Charity Circle has maintained their mission of assisting Rutherford County residents with basic needs and services that improve quality of life, with an emphasis on food, clothing, shelter and medicine.
Our Benefiting Agencies
With the exponential growth in the number of Rutherford County nonprofits, the Charity Circle began directing its formal development efforts toward the support of our community’s charitable infrastructure. Their business model includes hosting eight annual events: two premier fundraisers including the 53 year-old Ugly Duckling Ball and Patrons’ Party and six year-round Caroling Parties. Funds raised are granted to selected agencies by the organization’s Special Projects Committee, which makes recommendations to the Executive Board and the General Membership. Event expenses are supported by the membership, as well as through donations from local businesses.
Raising funds for Rutherford County nonprofits today is big business. The Charity Circle serves as a meaningful supporter of area nonprofits that focus on food, clothing, shelter and medicine needs, in addition to other areas. Our civic-minded, philanthropic membership offers multifunctional backgrounds representing healthcare, aerospace, law, business, banking, accounting, development, nonprofit management, public service, among others.
