The Charity Circle Mission Statement
Monies shall only be given to agencies that serve the basic needs of Rutherford County, Tennessee citizens. Basic needs shall be defined as: food, clothing, shelter and medicine. Related needs such as medical, developmental, protective and some literacy and counseling programs may be considered on a case-by-case basis as funds are available
No grant money may be used for administrative costs.
Grant applications are due by November 15.
Monies are typically distributed in mid to late February.

- First page of latest 990 filed
- Most current financial statement
- Current budget
- Proof of charitable solicitation registration or exemption thereof from the state of Tennessee
- List of board of directors
- For first time applicants, please include the following as well: 1. Copy of IRS 501(c)(3) determination; 2. Agency mission statement; 3. Copies of past five 990s filed (first page)
